Weather - Best times to visit

While any time is a great time to visit, the weather is of course better in certain parts of the year.

September is probably the best time to visit, and that's what you will here recommended by the locals as they particularly enjoy the cooler and dryer part of the year in the autumn.

Of course July through August is hot and clear, but also very busy and you will find many tourists visiting at this time.  Tourist facilities such as beach chair rentals often don't start to open until June, so visiting before this means a lack of facilities.  But of course the caves are open as are the many shops, restaurants and other places used by locals.

The winter is cooler and there is some rain through until April before the dryer part of the year begins.
